Open-Source Software (OSS) Libraries

Many Android Jetpack (AndroidX) libraries are licensed under the Apache License 2.0. This includes components like: AppCompat, Activity, ConstraintLayout, Room, Navigation, SwipeRefreshLayout, and Credentials libraries. For details, see the AndroidX license.

Google Play In-App Updates (Play Core / Play Libraries)

Kio Tutor may use Google Play libraries for update delivery (for example, the Play In-App Updates / app-update library). Use of Play Core SDK components is governed by Google’s Play Core Software Development Kit Terms of Service, in addition to the Google APIs Terms of Service.

Third-Party Services (Non-OSS)

Kio Tutor may rely on third-party services to operate core functionality (authentication, database, AI/voice processing, email delivery, and payment processing). These services are provided under their own terms and privacy policies.

Design Assets & Media Credits

Kio Tutor uses third-party media assets (animations and images) and platform icon resources. We respect the original creators’ rights and follow the license terms published by each provider.

• Lottie animations (.json): Some in-app animations are downloaded from LottieFiles and used according to the animation’s listed license/usage rights. Many free animations on LottieFiles are available under the Lottie Simple License where attribution is permitted to be omitted, although credit to the creator is strongly encouraged. If an animation is published under a license that requires attribution (for example, certain Creative Commons licenses), we will provide attribution in a reasonable manner. (LottieFiles License)
• Stock images / illustrations: Some images and illustrations are sourced from Pixabay and used under the Pixabay Content License. Pixabay content is generally usable for personal and commercial purposes with no attribution required. Content is not used or redistributed on a standalone basis, and we follow Pixabay license restrictions. (Pixabay License Summary)
• Google Material icons / vector drawables: Some UI icons are based on Google’s Material Icons / Material Symbols and Android Studio’s vector asset workflow. Material Icons are licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Attribution is appreciated but not required. (Material Icons License)
• Kio Tutor original assets: The Kio Tutor brand name, logo, and original UI assets are © Kio Tutor (unless otherwise credited above).
